Kingsclere Players is not just about acting on stage; there’s a whole host of “off stage” activities which can be equally rewarding and not quite as daunting as treading the boards. Kingsclere Singers

The choir, formally called ‘The Kingsclere Choral Society’, was formed in the 1920′s by the addition of men’s voices to the WI choir. The name has now been changed to reflect a new style of choir and repertoire which we hope will appeal to a wider audience. The choir visits a variety of local venues, performing music from the 15th-21st centuries; from unison singing to Close harmony; from Bach to Beatles; from Offenbach to ‘Often in the West End’.

Much has changed over the years, (in 1925 the annual subscription was 3/-, 15p), but the spirit and enthusiasm of the choir has not. Enjoyment of singing is all that is required to join and meet new members of all ages are always very welcome.

We rehearse at The Fieldgate Centre, Kingsclere on Mondays from 7:30pm – 9:15pm Please feel free to drop in and find out more and to join in.

We have a four week ‘cooling off’ period so there is no initial commitment and NO AUDITION!!!

We are always happy to sing at weddings and other private functions.

If you would like us to perform for you or are interested in singing with us, visit our web site or email.  speak to any of of our members if you visit.
